STYLE . . . The warm, storytelling images in my portfolio are a hybrid of portraiture and photojournalism -- a signature style that I created and refined over the past twenty years, first as a newspaper photojournalist and then a family portrait photographer. I capture candid moments, from spontaneous bursts of laughter to thoughtful pauses.

EXPERIENCE . . . I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photojournalism from San Francisco State University and am a Bay Area native. After founding my photography business in 2000, I became sought after for my fun and modern style with a specialization in children, families, headhots, and events. My award-winning photography has been featured nationally and internationally on television, CNET, and in numerous publications which you may view here.
FUN FACT . . . My favorite color has always been orange — as a child, it was the crayon that ran out first. Orange is associated with joy and sunshine. It represents enthusiasm, happiness, and creativity -- all adjectives that resonate with my personality, brand, and style of photography.
